I buy this variscite material directly from the Nevada mine owner, as far as I know, there is only one variscite mine in the United States. Variscite gets its green/ blue color from chromium, as opposed to turquoise which gets its colors from copper.  Most variscite comes from Australia and is more of a moss green.
