Imagine for a moment jewelry that makes you feel good, jewelry that you’re excited to wear, and jewelry you want to tell your friends about. Transport yourself to that mystical time when jewelry was made by Creatives, Artisans, and Craftsmen who put their heart and soul into each piece of jewelry they made.
My dream is that each unique piece makes you happy, you love to wear it and you really love to be seen in it. I would describe my jewelry as a little edgy, uniquely artsy and always stylish. I love colors that pop, designs that are eye catching and if my pieces occasionally turning a head or two, then I did my job.
When I sit down at the bench; cutting, sawing and soldering - that's the action to create a vision. The real vision is what I see clearly floating in my brain, and when I bring that vision to metal, it all sort of mixes together; the mystery and wonder mixes together with a good dose of art and a lot of love, then, hopefully, there is a lifetime of soul in each piece.
Who is the jewelry maker?
Hi, my name is Brian Davis, I believe I was very lucky to grow up dyslexic and not able to read until 4th grade. Because of my dyslexia I didn’t fit with the regular program; so instead of reading; I painted with oils, I made cardboard boxes into forts , and I generally set about building sculptures with anything I had available. Like many others, my hardships became a real gift.
My major influences came from my father, a fireman, who made jewelry from a hardware store blow torch and rocks he found in the desert. My parents, my two brothers and I took many California road trips in our white 1962 Studebaker station wagon. On these trips, I became completely mesmerized by the brightly lit neon signs with winking owls and blinking arrows, glowing red and orange sunsets and cafe waitresses with bright red lipstick that made me eat my vegetables.
We are happy to hear from you.
